You must be 15 ½ to get a Nevada Instruction (learner's) Permit
You must pass a knowledge test consisting of 25 multiple-choice questions based on the Nevada Drivers Handbook. The passing score is 80% (20 correct answers)
You must be 16 years old to get a Nevada driver’s license
When applying for your Instruction (learner's) Permit, you must present proof of your identity and Nevada residential address, such as with the following:

If you are under 18 years old, a licensed driver that is at least 21 years old should bring you to the DMV office
A vision test is required to obtain a Nevada Learner’s Permit and Driver’s License. The minimum level is 20/40 in one eye. If the driver wears glasses or contact lenses to meet that level, Restriction B will be placed on the license or permit
A physical exam is not required to obtain a Nevada Learner’s Permit or Driver’s License
A photograph will be taken at the Nevada DMV
After meeting the requirements in applying for your Nevada Instruction (learner’s) Permit, a paper interim copy will be provided to you at the DMV. You will get the Permit in the mail within a couple of weeks. You must complete at least 50 hours of behind-the-wheel training, including 10 at night. Make sure that you keep track of your driving hours on the Beginning Driver’s Log. You have to submit that log when you go for your road test
