You are eligible to get a Supervised Instruction Permit (SIP) when you are at least 14½ years old
Once you have turned 15, you can apply for an underage driver’s license.
You must complete 50 hours of required driving time and hold your learner's permit for at least 6 months without getting any traffic tickets or violations of your learner's permit. You can then apply for the Idaho underage driver's license. That underage driver's license is valid until 5 days following your 18th birthday. When renewing it, you will receive an unrestricted Idaho driver's license.
